I obtained a total of five estimates in my search for a new HVAC system, and I felt like Goldilocks without the perfect porridge, but then I called Argent. Tan came out and walked me through everything and I felt comfortable with him and his knowledge of the products. They were also the only company that provided me with brochures for the different models, which was extremely helpful in deciding on a system; with the other companies I didn t feel like I could sit down and study the pros and cons of each unit. A week or so later, two gentlemen came out to install the A/C and furnace the first day, and the water heater and humidifier on the second day. I was pleasantly surprised to find some added features for my system (dampness safety indicator, and another gadget for my furnace plumbing to clean out any build-up that might cause blockage). I was also pleased that they installed my water heater closer to the furnace (via moving around some copper plumbing), allowing my washing machine lid to open all the way without hitting the water heater (small things make such a difference sometimes)! My only "complaints" are that I thought the work would be done in one day, as soon as the installers came out they were positive they couldn't install in one day (pouring rain was definitely a factor, but didn t stop them from installing the A/C unit). And the A/C unit was installed so the back was facing the front. I was told this is for maintenance purposes, as the back of the unit would have butted up against the house and a fence. It is a bit unsightly, but I can appreciate the value of having it set up this way. Overall, my experience was very pleasurable and would/will recommend Argent to others.

Argent visited our home on a Saturday, outlined the system options and left me with detailed system estimates for consideration. Argent's approach was very customer focused. Combine this, a high quality product and an attractive rebate offer; I was sold and set an installation date just a few days later. Installers arrived as scheduled, laid drop cloths, got to work and completed the job that day. The workers explained the system operation to me in full, and I'd have them in my home again any time. Then a few weeks later; horror struck. I missed the rebate filing deadline. It was during the holidays, and I just lost track. My calls to the manufacturer were futile; "no deadline extensions!" Argent made calls on my behalf and found more dead ends. I was cursing my idiocy and counting my loss. Fortunately for me, Argent wouldn't give up, and they ultimately had the rebate honored. The work Argent did is great and their customer care saved my skin. Thank you!

They showed up on time, looked the system over and diagnosed the problem told me how much it would cost. I agreed to the price and they went and got the parts and met me back at the house the next day and fixed the unit and gave me the bill as we agreed. I was very satisfied with the service.

I have called on Ron for years for all of my heating and air conditioning needs. When the air conditioner broke this summer, he was able to get someone out to my house within 24 hours. If you've never lived without air conditioning, it's a nightmare so getting someone out quickly was huge! Although, I needed to replace my system, Ron priced out several different options so I could make an informed decision. His consulting skills are unbeatable. Plus, the job was completed ahead of schedule!

Installers arrived on-time for the job, after the first day the installers were not done. They worked the following day and then informed me the work was complete via phone. From the start there were problems with both the installation and the system. The system did not heat or cool and I had to call the installers back. They found that it already had a leak (day 3) but resolved it in a couple hours. In regards to the installation, the work was sloppy and messy and installers did not clean up or haul away all their trash. My attic was messy and littered with parts from the old installation. The most appalling problem was the exposed electrical wires left in my attic. I called them back and they resolved. Over the first winter I continued to have electrical problems with the system and had to get an electrician to replace my fuses for the system and eventually Argent had to rewire the unit. I have also found many of the ducts in the attic were not sealed.

Argent arrived on time and performed the work in a professional way. They were courteous and cleaned up after the job. We have used them for the 4 houses we own and in replacing furnaces and A/C units. They have always been excellent.

These guys are super-nice and super-professional. Ron examined our heating/AC and gave an estimate in late spring, explained the problems with the existing system (the ducts are too small to supply air to the top floor), outlined possible solutions and the pros/cons of each. We decided to replace the old equipment even though it would only marginally increase airflow; a marginal increase seemed reasonable. We paid a deposit and scheduled the work for September. Preparing for the work in Sept., Aaron suggested that we might not be satisfied with the marginal improvement that replacing equipment would bring and we changed the plan to mini splits for the upstairs. Unfortunately, there was a communications failure at the Argent office and the mini splits weren't ordered in time. The crew worked around this problem as best they could, but the project took several days longer than scheduled. A leak developed the day after they completed, the crew returned the next day and fixed the problem.

He came on time as he said he would and did a good job. He came the first day and found the problem and let me know it had to thaw out first and then he came back the following day and added the Freon. I learned something new from him and the unit works great now, so I am happy with them.

The rep showed up on time and did the service as contracted, but first he had to solve a problem with my set-back thermostat which I had wired incorrectly. He courteously did not remark on my abilities! After the service was performed he made sure to explain every detail of the service contract and how it would work, and cost, under all situations. The technician's name was Sam and he refereed to himself as "Sam The Man". He certainly was in my opinion!

I think that this company did a great job. They even removed our old units for us and cleaned up their mess. They were easy to schedule and arrived on time. They were very respectful of our home. They also finished the job in a timely manner.

The AC was not working very well and the coil had frozen several times. The technician explained the problem would be either a flow (motor) problem or low freon or both. The technician cleaned the unit, which had never been serviced since 1995, and recharged the freon and checked for leaks. The AC works great now. I could not be happier with it.

Argent gave me a bid far lower then the next contractor, and it included better equipment. They came out right on time and finished within an 1/2 hour of their estimate. There were no extra charges for the small extra jobs they performed such as some minor duct work repair. Very clean, neat, and professional work at a good price. I was very satisfied.

We were able to quickly set up an appointment for a free cost estimate. The estimator arrived on time and provided a detailed proposal along with payment options. A second representative visited the house (also punctual) to look at the scope of work to be done. Two technicians performed the work in about 4 hours, were punctual, courteous, and did an excellent clean-up job.
